JANAT PARIS & MAISON KAYSER team up to break the World’s largest Heart-Shaped Origami at France Pavilion, Expo 2025 Osaka under the patronage of Akie Abe

Osaka, Japan — July 14, 2025 —
On France’s National Day, a powerful symbol of unity and women’s leadership unfolded at the France Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka. Under the leadership of Femmes du Monde Foundation, JANAT & MAISON KAYSER crafted the world’s Largest Heart-Shaped Origami, and set a new record measuring 4.28m x 4.96m
This record-breaking artwork was handcrafted live by a team of leaders, directed by prominent figures in female empowerment: Yumi Tanabe, Kyoko Spector, and Machiko Ikeoka, and held under the patronage of Mrs. Akie Abe, former First Lady of Japan.

Tied to the France Pavilion’s theme “Hymn à l’Amour”, the origami heart was scented with Janat Paris’s beloved tea “Pomme d’Amour” fragrance and made from specially perfumed red paper. This collaboration between two renowned French houses is a symbol of French craftsmanship, kindness, and gastronomy, a partnership that continues in the French Pavilion bakery, where visitors can purchase exclusive Janat x Maison Kayser teas crafted especially for the expo.
Janat Paris teas, including the Pomme d’Amour blend, are available at Kaldi Coffee Farm stores across Japan, for everyone to take part in this fragrant journey of love.
“This is more than a world record—it’s about sharing back to the communities,” said Machiko Ikeoka, representing Femmes Du monde in Japan.
