“L’Osier Original Tea” – Four Special Teas Born From A Sustainable Collaboration Between Janat Paris and L’Osier

L'Osier Original TeaL’Osier Original Tea is a symbol of the groundbreaking sustainable collaboration between Janat Paris and L’Osier as a gourmet initiative. We introduce the stories of four teas made with organic, pesticide-free tea leaves and traditional methods that travel the world.

Jardin Secret

This is a classic Ceylon tea made by aging the finest organic tea leaves, carefully hand-picked one by one in a secret tea field in Dimbula, central Sri Lanka, in oak barrels made by barrel craftsmen in the Champagne region of France using traditional methods. Aging the tea leaves in oak barrels creates a distinctive smoky flavor. It is the only tea in the world whose flavor changes delicately with each barrel, and the tea manufacturing method is also patented. The oak barrels are stamped with an EPV (Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant) label as proof that it was made using traditional methods. The EPV label is the only certification issued by the French government to companies that have traditional and industrially outstanding rare technologies in France.

Douceur d’Alicante

A special flavored tea blended with 1000-year-old olive leaves. An impressive fruity blend that first fills your mouth with the aroma of grapefruit, then cherry, followed by a lingering hint of cardamom. The natural fruit flavors extracted from organic, pesticide-free fruits will remind you of the tranquil scenery of Alicante, Spain.

Rêve du Bhoutan

A special blended tea made from precious turmeric that has been cultivated since ancient times in the Royal Family Garden of the Kingdom of Bhutan, vanilla from Madagascar, natural essence of Valencia oranges from Spain, and natural essence of pears grown in the “King’s Garden” of Versailles, France. The spicy yet delicate taste of turmeric is complemented by the smooth gentleness of vanilla, and finally the sweetness of fruit can be felt.

“Touche Millénaire (Millennium Melody)”

This special blended tea is made from the natural essence of apples and roses grown in the “King’s Garden” of Versailles, France, rose petals, camellia leaves planted by Shiseido to support the reconstruction of Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture, and 1,000-year-old olive leaves from Alicante, Spain. The strong rose scent is complemented by delicate nuances of apples, and the camellia and olive leaves create an exquisite balance.
